Why splash out on a professional photographer to take the pix for your wedding? Good question. Well, Uncle Harry belongs to a camera club and has the latest shiny new camera, not to mention Aunty Doris who takes award winning pix with her new iPhone! Don’t waste time on paying a photographer when these two alone will give you some memorable pictures of your special day..

To myself (whose been in this business for oops. nearly thirty years), this is a genuine case of false economy. Whilst the above may be true, I have covered enough weddings to know that the very best shots often come with a catch. i.e. something that even a very clever camera can’t suss out. Let’s not forget that taking ‘the’ pictures for a wedding is actually very stressful, so the answers to any potential picture problems needs to be obvious to the photographer.

If you’re still of the opinion that Uncle Harry and Aunty Doris are capable of taking responsibility for arguably the most important ‘photos in your life then don’t let me stop you. With that said, I’d still like to point out that we can offer one of three options as an alternative:

1) The best we can offer is TWO pro’ photographers to cover all sides of the event, a wide selection of both the latest digital pix PLUS the very best in traditional medium format FILM photography to choose from, plus a super wedding album complete with nice BIG 10x8 prints. £1,150 inclusive.

2) Pure bang up to date digital photography with a super wedding album complete with BIG 10x8 prints throughout (the same as above of course)   £750 inclusive.

3) If you simply cannot afford either of the above, then for just £250 inclusive we will photograph your entire wedding and present you with a FULL SET of high resolution, corrected professional images on a CDROM for YOU to have printed out and put into an album in your own time.

Now the difficulty here has been to produce a small collection of images from past weddings when one has many tens of thousands of images to choose from. Clearly the bride’s dress fashions have changed over the years as have the styles of images preferred by the modern married couple. I have therefore selected the majority from recent weddings. Some are definitely modern ‘reportage’, whereas others have a more traditional feel. Of course for every weddings we attend, we’ll adjust the style of images to suit the requirements of the couple on the day.
